We’ve been hard at work rolling out new features that make running your coaching business smoother, more professional, and easier to manage. 

Below you’ll find a breakdown of big updates for CoachNow Academy and CoachNow PRO, what you might have missed, and what’s just around the corner.

Google Calendar Integration Update

We've worked hard to improve the Google Calendar integration for your seamless experience.

If you haven't already connected your Google Calendar, now's the perfect time!

For those who've already connected it, please disconnect and reconnect to enjoy improved accuracy and features. 

Feature Update: Big Upgrades for Payment Collection and Automation (Academy Only)

We've officially launched a significant upgrade to payments, bringing more flexibility and automation to how you handle bookings and payments.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Simple Checkout Experience: When athletes go to book, they’ll be taken through Stripe Checkout and given 15 minutes to complete their payment.

  • Upfront Payments: You can now collect full payment right when the booking happens, if you want to.

    Choose from “Collect Online”, “Collect Offline”, or both to set your preferred        method for collecting payments.

  • Packages & Subscriptions: Whether you want to sell one-off packages or set up recurring subscriptions, you now have options:

    • Subscriptions: Athletes pay on a recurring schedule tied to a booking option that is automatically tracked.

    • Packages: Athletes purchase a set number of sessions (non-recurring) that automatically track as they book.

From the athlete's perspective, they can now see how many sessions they have left, and every booking deducts one automatically. (Although you can still manually adjust the number of remaining sessions if needed.)

Feature Release: Gallery Posts (Academy + PRO Members) 

For years, coaches and athletes have asked for an easier way to share multiple pieces of content in a single post. 

With Gallery Posts, you can now combine videos, images, notes, and audio, all in one streamlined update.

Everything you want to share lives together, making it easier than ever to capture, review, and learn.

Gallery Posts are designed to help you share context-rich training sessions in a single view. Instead of scattering drills, instructions, or highlights across multiple posts, everything stays organized in one place.

For example:

  • Share an entire day of training; videos, photos, and feedback all bundled together.
  • Provide a series of drills with clear instructions, so your athletes can click through and review them step by step.
  • Capture session recaps that combine video highlights with your written or audio feedback.

The result? A cleaner, more complete way to communicate, with less clutter and more impact.

This has been one of our most requested features, and we couldn’t be more excited to deliver it. 

In Case You Missed It (Academy Only)

We’ve also rolled out a couple key updates that improve both the athlete experience and your workflow:

  • Updated Registration Flow: Athletes can sign up for CoachNow more quickly and clearly than before. We’ve simplified steps and now collect phone numbers to make communication easier.

  • Auto-Created Spaces: If an athlete books a session from your public calendar but doesn’t already have a Space with you, we’ll automatically create one. They’ll instantly see you as their coach and be ready to go.

    From your profile, athletes can easily view your offers, purchase packages, and book sessions with upfront payment.

  • Multiple Availability for Booking Options: You can now set multiple availability windows for each booking option, making it much easier to manage your schedule across different times, days, or services.

Some real-world use cases of this could look like:

  • You coach at two different facilities throughout the week and want athletes to see the correct location-based available day.

  • You want to charge premium rates (10% more) for evening sessions and can link a higher rate booking option for athletes to schedule a session during peak demand hours.

  • You offer on-Course Instruction only available at 4pm on Wednesdays and can ensure that athletes can only book on-course instruction during the designated time slot.

Excited to see what’s next? Here’s a look at what’s coming soon:

  • Contact Management: Soon you’ll be able to add, edit, delete, and even bulk upload contacts directly into your list. If someone’s in your contact list, you can easily book sessions with them.

  • Updated Coach Profile: Your coach profile will soon house all of your services and offers on a single page, which will be available both publicly and inside your customers’ accounts.

  • Personalized Facility Landing Page: More improvements are on the way for an enhanced Athlete Booking flow, streamlining their overall experience.
